A LITTE MORE ABOUT RADIO JCOM Radio Jcom was formed by a group of community members with broadcasting, media, communal and business backgrounds from a cross-section of the Leeds Jewish community. Radio Jcom was the first dedicated Jewish Internet radio stations outside London and in the UK. .Initially, Radio Jcom launched as an Internet-based radio station offering website information and a full service programming schedule for the Leeds Jewish community. It then broadcast on the medium wave, but has now set up its own YouTube channel from where it provides itd programming. Radio Jcom offers a wide range of programmes from music to sport to youth to news, encompassing every aspect of the Jewish community. Radio Jcom is a totally voluntary and non-profit organisation. This is your Leeds Jewish community station. Why not be a part of it?

We offer programmes to suit all tastes, including community magazine and current affairs, discussion, spotlight, history, cultural, poetry and music across the genres, including Jewish interest, popular, rock, classical and jazz. It also features occasional guest programmes of Jewish interest from other communities in the UK and abroad. All programmes are presented and produced by volunteers from the community.
Radio Jcom is the Leeds-based Jewish Community radio station, with its studio located in Donisthorpe Hall. All content, discussion, a lively mix of music, and local content, is produced by volunteers
Leeds, the ’capital’ of West Yorkshire, is the north of England’s financial and professional services powerhouse. The city is home to the third largest Jewish community in the UK, comprising of some 9,000 people. Most live in the North East of the city, about 15 minutes’ drive from the centre, and it is for these residents as well as ex-pats and other interested Leeds residents that Radio Jcom aims to reach.
